I spent Xmas eve in Lima but celebrated it Andean-style, dancing huaynos until 3 am with the Loaza family (who are from Llamellin). The next morning we ate turkey and ham from Llamellin, and discussed the merits of living in Oklahoma, where a Peruvian they know is living. From the Amazon, actually.
